EO vs AO
EO raises reinforcer value and evokes behavior; AO lowers value and abates it. Both differ from the SD, which signals availability.
Four verbal operants
Mand (EO, specifies reinforcer), tact (nonverbal stimulus), echoic (point-to-point + formal similarity), intraverbal (verbal antecedent, no correspondence).
Negative punishment
Stimulus removed AND future frequency decreases (e.g. response cost, time-out).
